It's a Mini...

A mini- shoot of a little cutie (who is a mini version of her mom AND dad!) I met with Katelyn and her mom for a fun, quick shoot today. She was ready to go~ running all over! I am surprised I caught as many as I did. She was so much fun and so full of awesome personality. Check out the color-

And this one is my FAVE!!! I have to do something with it. I did not think it was focused, but when i got it on my computer, it was sharp as a tack and I am in love...

Thanks guys!!! Looking forward to my minis tomorrow! Will I do this again?? I don't know. Who knows- you never know what I will do!

August...

I had the pleasure of meeting August and his cool parents last night. What a doll the little guy was! This shoot was amazing to me bc he stayed happy for 2 hours! He did not end it- we did:) I got a nice variety of shots that I know mom and dad will love. It was so nice to meet you guys! Here is the happy, lil guy-

Is anyone interested in a mini shoot next week? Thinking 15ish images edited to CD?? I never do this, so if I decide to- then jump in! I am thinking tues, wed or thurs Clinton Preserve in the am. SPRING...

yay! It's here! Georgia had snow yesterday- whatever! As long as it gets nice again. Here are some images from my shoots this weekend-

Welcome Sunshine...

it has taken you a long time for you to stay out all day! I love you!! Georgia is getting closer to nice weather. We have a great forcast for today and tomorrow- let's see what it leads to. I am finally getting around to uploading our Cancun pics. There are not many, but here are a few of Scott and I sitting on our booties:)

When we got back, we joined our good friends from new York at Atl Motor Speedway for our 3rd race. Like I have said before, we are not fans. Just being there is really neat with these guys. Their setup on the infield is so cool and we can stand on the bus and watch the cars circle us or go down and socialize. We took my dad this time and he had SO much fun!!

Meet my new friends, Lucy and Owen. They are 5 and 2. We had a fun time throwing rocks, hunting for nuts and chasing eachother around an old cemetary where they have family reunions!

The REAL "Normal"...

Well, after a wonderful, sunny getaway in Cancun and a great weekend with family and friends, Scott and I have hit the ground running this week! I have jumped on top of work and he has been thrown in the world of waking up early and studying (to be a firefighter!) From running a sportsbar to 8-5 training- we are in a "normal" schedule!! I am LOVING it! Scott is home every night for dinner and bedtime and I wake up early to take the kids to school and then hit the computer.

I left our point and shoot at a friends house- will post a couple pics from our trip soon. I am trying hard to incorporate Storyboards in galleries. They are extra work, but I feel it gives you more ideas and visual. I started this one with an idea for the back of an announcement, but have flipped to a desk storyboard- 5x7 maybe?? If I printed this, I would have it mounted with a styrene backing so parents can sit it on a shelf or use a small easel for easy display....

Cute- huh? Back to work!!
