Little John...

I am about to hit the hay, but not bf showing off this little cutie! I was 45 minutes late to our shoot- thanks to 2 wrecks on I-20. Would have been longer if I have not been learning many backroads between home and Smyrna:) So, needless to say, we had a short window! John did great! We are still going to throw a mini-shoot together to grab a few smiles next time I am in the area, though. I mean- he is the big 1!!!! Look at those blue eyes-

Clapping and standing at the same time- BIG BOY! Gotta work on the eye contact at the same time:) This shot is just really sweet to me-

HELLO! Just had a little realization- I emailed little Andrew's mom her peek, but never shared on blog! Here is sweet, little Andrew- just started sitting!!

Love this one-

Off to bed! Long day today and an even longer one tomorrow! PS- I am running about 2 days behind on galleries right now. Determined to get caught up!! So, if you are waiting on one, please be patient with me! I am literally running back and forth from work to kids, as Scott is working some long hours!! :) :)

Baby Charlotte...

I know Charlotte's mom is so anxious to see her peek! I would have had them up earlier, except my computer is giving me fits. It will not do more than one thing at a time and my Internet was out for quite sometime today- VERY frustrating! Especially when I have galleries to work on! Ok, enough fuss, onto the baby!

And her beautiful mommy-

I hope you guys enjoyed the rest of your day together!!

My Cousins...

I love my family. I really enjoy being with them. That is why I hiked it up to Columbia to see and do pictures for 4 sets of cousins this past weekend. I was lucky enough to have a WONDERFUL handful of people help me out with the kids bc Scott was working and I figured that I could move from house to house with ease. It was great! First, I took pics of my little cousins, Nora and Quinn. Their "Mop and Pop" have the most wonderful antiques that I sifted through to use as props- inspired me to hit more antique stores:) I just LOVE what we got-

I am so proud of you guys! Such terrific kids!!!
Next, I ran to my Aunt Jane and Uncle Jeff's "farm." I am pretty darn sure it is a farm- they have a dog, cats, chickens and loads of horses. My little cousins (and my aunt and uncle) have settled into the life as horse people. It is so neat to see the transition they have made as riders and their horsemanship skills. Here is Hailey with her Lady-

And, Anya with Topper (who by the way makes UGLY faces- can you tell? I had NO idea! Photographing horses is seriously HARD!!)

And, fun little, Devin. We got some pics of him by himself

Now, one of their horses just has a baby, Jester. I absolutely love this image. I love my Uncle Jeff- he has such a soft, quiet side. So loving- I can really see him in this shot-

We ate dinner (YUMMY steaks from THE BUTCHER BLOCK in Chapin ) and had some wine and enjoyed the crazy kids running around. Well, I enjoyed it bc mine were at home snug in their beds!
Next day, I visited my cuz, Shannon. She is about to give birth to their second son really soon. I had such a great time hanging out with them. Shannon is such an amazing person and mom. She looks so beautiful and I just love the pictures we got-

Then my other cuz, Amanda, came with her fam! Her little ones were looking so cute! They are such beautiful kids and fun personalities-
Oh, and amazing eyes:)
Miles and Morgan-

It was sooooo great seeing all my family! I love you all!!!

Not Used to This...

I have been shooting so many babies and toddlers, it was strange to have a 6 yr old! Sweet Aly (for some reason, I am having a brain-you-know-what and cannot remember if this is how she spells her name!) came over yesterday, so we can grab some pics of her. Little bro, Brock, keeps stealing the show, since he is right at 6 mo.. But, we finally let Aly have her time to shine!! And boy, did she! It was so funny when she started posing and cocking her head like a model:) This happens alot at this age. It is a bit harder to get the natural side. Aly is one of Lily's Bffs, so it was a bit easier for me to pull it out. Here is the little cutie!

I cannot decide if I like the smiling or not on this one-

Off to get Morgan ready for school. I have a shoot with baby Andrew (6 mo) and then i have got to pack bc I am headed to SC BY MYSELF(!!!) to take pics what seems like all of my family! And I am so excited!!

My Baby's 3rd Birthday...

I decided a small, family party was appropriate this year for Morgan. He was so excited! The kids sat by his presents an hour bf people arrived. The pic of him and Lily was taken right beside his little stash:) All I had were trick candles and he was less than thrilled. 2 went out right away and he freaked! Check out my mini slideshow! I let him decide what he wanted and he decided chocolate cupcakes with sprinkes and soccerball cupcake papers. He was such a big boy!!!

Short Winded...

I am worn out! Long weekend, even though I had to cancel 2 shoots bc of the weather. Mid-day was beautiful! A little windy, but nice. Then the rain was on and off. Enough chat- how about some pics? Met with Lily yesterday- a year after out first session together. She was not a big "smiler" as mom warned me. Mom brought bubbles and baby dolls- perfect! How cute did these turn out????

Mom liked the choclate/texture look. I thought this one was appropriate-

Next, I went to hang with one of my best friends and her sis for Logan's 6 mo shots and some family stuff.
Little Logan- sweet baby!

Mom and baby:)

Gin's sister, Katie's family

Beautiful Olivia (whom I used to watch once a week when she was under 1!!)

I got some smiley shots of her, but I feel like this one was simple and jsut sweet.
Off to bed! Gnight!

Long Winded...

I had a great shooting week. I cannot believe I have not posted since Sunday. Lots to share! Thanks to all my patient clients for waiting for their little peeks! I started my week off with my little twins, Grace and Rebecca. The girls are almost 8 months old~ sitting and being just as cute as can be. I have pics of them in their sweet pink and brown dresses, but forgot to prep one (mom, I will email you one sep.) So, here they are in all their glory!

And at the end, the fingers came straight to their mouths. Hmm... I guess we wore them out. They both fell asleep on mom as we were taking snuggling pics- so sweet!

Next, I met up with another Baby Planner, 9 mo old, Harrison. Little guy was decked out in his spring best. Too bad spring was not decked out for us- it was windy and chilly. We ended up in the Smyrna library (where we were politely kicked into the kiddie area!) and got a few.

Such a sweet face!

Next, I met Jack at Grant Park. What a fun little guy! He was so funny. He would just let his legs do the thinking and just walk. You can totally tell he had plans or ideas of where to (he did know that he was walking in the opposite direction of me!) So, we pulled out the big guns- Morgan's tricycle! He loved it! Climbed on and off and on and off.

So handsome! I LOVED his little outfit- I need those pants for Morgan:)

This morning, I got to meet little Quinn. We met a one of the pretty parts of our Ol' Chattahoochee. There was all these tiny, yellow flowers growing all over- we were so excited! I had a really great time with Quinn and her cool parents-

I have a busy weekend, so lots to post either Sunday night or Monday. I do have a few little Pillow Household things to share:
1. Scott is EMPLOYED!!! We have finally found a great job that he will totally love! He will be one of the GMs for Taco Mac in Douglasville. We are very excited!
2. I miss my best friend, who is in TN. I am hoping to run up there for a night or 2 next month. (just had to announce that!)
3. Morgan is calming down on his naked phase (ALWAYS naked!) He was dressed for the majority of the time we had our new friend and alarm guy over for a long time and next thing we know- Morgan is STREAKING! Good thing I warned the poor guy! So, his co-worker shows up and Morgan pulls out of the dining room on his tricycle- you guessed it- naked. Yikes! (and for those you that are now thinking, "Isn't that the tricycle you bring to shoots?" Yes, it is and no worries- I use my trusty bleach and water solution to clean the seat:))
4. The kids have been obsessed with worms and caterpillars. They are all over our porch bc they find 10 and put them in a shallow box with grass and no top. I am so afraid of what is to happen when i have to explain, "You stepped on the caterpillar and now he is dead- so sorry!"
5. I am now having to worry about babysitters and extra childcare now that I will no longer have my "mister mom!" He will be having to work some weekend days, so I am going to have to figure out what I am going to do about weekends- PAIN in the tushy:(
Off to work on my little newborn's gallery- g'night!

Happy Easter...

I hope you all had a very nice Easter weekend! What a difference in the weather- so nice. Well, my week with 8 shoots (I know, I am crazy!) turned into 5 with this nutty weather. I did have more editing time, so I am at a toss up of which was the better deal:) So, I posted a little peek of darling, Colby. Here is another to make you get baby fever-

I also got to see my sweet, Carter- did I say see? Oh, I mean CHASE! Carter is now the big numero uno and he likes to run. What a doll!

Late, yesterday afternoon, I got to meet 2 yr old, Aubrey. WoW! Little Aubrey blew me away! A good way to describe her session is COLORFUL. Her hair, her cute outfits and mommy's cool choice of props. Ok, now the child's personality- COLORFUL. She cracked me up!!! I kinda made up an impromptu location and it worked perfect. Take a look-

And, I love this little pouty moment-

Thanks, everybody, for such a good week- despite the rain:)

Baby Carter...

Carter, his sweet mom and I had an adventure on thursday! It was pretty darn chilly (but at least nice out) and Carter was on the sleepy side. We pulled out all the tricks, including letting Carter take a power nap while we drove around and chatted:) What a sweet baby he is! Here he is on his dining room chair that I spotted at his 3 mo session- I knew we needed it for this one. I love it when we can use things that are special. Thanks, guys!
