Adorable 7 Month Old...

Sweet Emma- we had a great time with the smiley munchkin and her fun mom (who just adores her baby)! We had outfit changes, went outside and then decided on a bottle and a nap:) Check out this little angel-

Gorgeous Family...

I had so much fun with this terrific family! Baby Michael is 6 wks old and he is such a great baby. He was wonderful awake and sweet asleep and blew us away when stuck him in a BOWL (at 6 wks!!) That is usually reserved for under 2 wks when they are floppy and curly:) They all were great models. Here are a few from our session-

I wanted to let everybody know that my March is pretty much booked! I have one or 2 things availible depending. If you have a newborn under 2 wks old and want a session- please contact me asap to see if I am availible. Also, I am running 2 wks on the dot for Galleries. I know you want to see them sooner! But, proofing is time consuming and I want to do it right- in addition to being very busy. To add to that- I have finally put Morgan in daycare! He goes to a Mother's Morning Out right now (and will continue until the summer) 2 days a week for 3 hrs.. I LOVE it! But, it is not enought time for me to work. So, I am putting him in 2 days a week. I cannot believe it! He will love it. :) Happy Springtime!

Cute Storyboards...

Just wanted to share some storyboard I did. This will be printed on a 20x20 print with a linen finish, mounted on styrene. How cute!!

This one is for my assistant, Rachel. It will be printed on a 10x20. Rachel has a Black distressed frame from the Saratoga Frame Co that she is putting it in. The frames are handmade, chunky and on the ecclectic side- they are awesome!! The white bordering will not show up on Blog. I need to figure out a way to outline it.

I am WAY Too Excited...

Bc I got an email from BareNaked Ladies (mass, of course) saying that they are releasing a children's album in may! For those of you who do not know them, they did quite a bit on Chicken Little. Including the opening song. I have seen them preform, I think, 5 times or so. They are high energy, HILARIOUS, and super talented. Here is the album cover:

I having trouble with too much TV at our house. The kids ride to Walmart and they want to watch a movie. I have been trying to replace that with music. Hit or miss- depending on their moods:) In stores May 6th

And we wonder why I cannot get work done in a reasonable amount of time. It is bc my son (2 in April) decides to let himself outside and proceeds to RUN through the "creek" we had running through our backyard today. No worries- I was watching him play on the screen porch and saw him go out. I thought I would just watch for awhile...

Fun Shoot #6...

I had such a fun weekend! And little Madelyn was the icing on the cake. We wandered around downtown Decatur and got some Great stuff. Maddie is 6 mo- such a great age. She is one of Baby Planners- one of her 3 mo shots are in my Blog Banner (on top). Such a cool family! Check out this little doll-

Busy Weekend...

I had the flu last week and had to cancel 3 appointments. Well, since fri, I have had 5 shoots! 1- newborn, 3- 6monthers and 1- 9 mo. How much fun??!!! We got some great stuff and the weather was AMAZING! Spring fever anyone??

Let's start with Daniel. This beautiful boy decided 3 wks early would be a good time to come. What a lucky little man! He was a darling peanut-

Next up, one of my sweet Baby Planners, Hayes. Hayes has blossomed into one handsome little babe. His two gorgeous sisters were lending us lots of hands. They love their little bro:) Mommy missed out on the last half of shoot (when mean Karen woke him up after a bottle) So these precious faces will be a surprise for her. Can you say GORGEOUS?? And, yes, sisters are just as stunning.

Next up, more 6 mo cuteness! Ethan. I did Ethan's 3 mo pics and was very pleased when I was contacted for the super fun 6 mo shoot! He is such a doll with amazing parents. We shot at Kennesaw- first time there- pretty neat place.Don't you just love the red in the wagon?

Ok, here is someone you will probably recognize- Super Cool, Noah. Noah won my Blog photo contest and mommy was very happy. We needed a neat background to show off the 9 month old WALKER! I decided to throw out an "urban" style session. So, we headed to the good old City of Gold, downtown Villa Rica. Great place- I really recommend it. Well, for a child that will not run from you- since you are mostly on the sidewalk. Here is the precious, blue eyed cutie-

And, now a GIRL! Naveah and her mommy came to the daffodil patch I found. (PS- If you are interested in a mini-session with these daffodils- please email me ASAP) Then we used Lily's pink room to complete her 6 mo photo shoot. I just LOVE her big brown eyes and her sweet little curl on top of her head!
Off to another 6 mo girl tomorrow!! I am having such a great week:)

Welcome to Your Home, Little Man...

Baby Elijah has a new home. A home that will provide him with more than enough love and care than he will ever need in a lifetime! What a lucky baby! And what lucky parents! And lucky me, bc I got to capture this sweet, sleeping face-

And, oh yes, we woke him up! But, don't you worry- we swaddled him right up and get him peaceful again (with his eyes open!!) Congrats, guys. You are very special people!

Out of IT...

I did not dodge the flu! I have not an ounce if energy in my body, so please have patience with me!! Luckily, I was able to catch up bf I got sick, minus a few things. I am hoping to be out of bed tomorrow! Keep the emails coming, so i can catch up when I get a burst of energy at 3:00 in the morning:)

Had to Share...

I am working on Drew's gallery and had to share this shot. It is just too sweet! As far as my schedule goes, my weekends are about full through March. Hot Chocolate...

Yes, we (little Drew and mommy, daddy and I) needed some hot chocolate during out session today! But, it was also the song of choice for getting Drew to have a little fun! (He loves Polar Express, just like my sweet babe, Morgan!) By the way, I decided to name this post that bc it it STUCK in my head:) Drew was the chattiest, smartest little boy I have ever met. I mean, the kid talked in sentences and he is not even 2! What fun he was. I had a great time freezing with you guys today- hope you like your peek!

Mom saw a family shot that I did for another client and liked the style. So, we gave it a try! It is nice bc the children do not always want to do what we want them to do- like sit still with mom and dad:)

Spring Fever...

I got some green today! I met my new baby planner, Jackson and his parents at their family's chicken farm. It was beautiful! LUSh green grass (can you figure out why?) I think the first image is one of my all-time faves! Jackson and his family were not only beautiful, but so fun:) We got some terriffic pics. Welcome to PictureLily, guys!!

Love my Cousins...

I got to see almost all of my cousins in SC last week. It was so nice, even if it was just for a few minutes. Jessi and Shannon and I got our kids together for a little photo op. in the cold wind. I am working really hard on new designs for storyboards and had done these for Cole and Nora. More storyboards to come! They are such a neat way to display more than one pic on a print. You can even mix them in with regular prints on a gallery wall. I think my tough week is almost over! Lily been really sick and has been out of school and Scott (hubby) has been working an insane schedule. I have 3 sessions this weekend- looking foward to hanging with some new clients!

As most of you know, I am not able to update my website. I can use Filezilla to make changes and it says it was sucessful and nothing has changed (any help appreciated!!) Welcome Home...

Morgan and I are home! I thought the wind was going to blow me off the road the whole way. It now occurs to me that the wind ended up being my enemy today. I was on the phone with my sis, who lives behind us, and she was looking out her house and saw smoke. We both walked outside and she started shouting that my neighbors yard was on fire. This is the neighbor on the other side of my house. She cut me off and called 911 as I ran to the side of my yard and there was fire halfway to my yard. By the time my bro in law Brad and I ran over to make sure they knew, the fire was in my yard. It is almost humorous now to think how we acted. I have not ran that hard in all my life! Laura got my children and pets safe to her house while Brad and I dragged hoses and frantically hooked them up, only to find that ALL of the houses had shut off their outdoor water. I tore through their home andf found the valve, then barged in their neighbor's home to get the husband. It felt like lightyears bf the fire dept came. By the time they got there, the neighbors siding was melted all the way up and the fire was starting on my house. We are all ok. The neighbors were using the grill and something went wrong (still do not know) I think they thought they could control it, but the wind was too much. I feel bad for them bc they kept apoligizing. It was an accident and we are all very lucky! Thank you to the neighbors who helped us and those who checked on us! And of course, the 3 firetrucks, 1 cop, 1 ambulance and the fire chief of Villa Rica! Our neighbor, Michael, truely saved our house from further damage bf the firemen arrived. Thank you! Here are some pics. It makes it worse to think that the wind only needed one more minute to put both of our homes in big flames.

And then, here is the back view. It started in their backyard. At the top of the hill is woods. If it had gone further...
Well, what I can say positive is that in the spring- our grass will be kicking ass!!!! Nice and green:)

Morgan LOVES the Beach...

I took Morgan to the beach yesterday. He has been before, but never really cared. He was running, throwing sand, crawling and leaving me struggling me to catch up! We had such a good time. Funny thing- I ran into a SC photographer, Natalie Kimball. I found Natalie's Blog a year or so ago, so I knew of her and her work. Crazy to run into her! She snapped a few pics of Morgan and I. Precious Girls...

We are here! In SC. Morgan is so excited to be here and I actually am feeling pretty refreshed:) On the way out of town, I had a session with 2 old friends and their sweet girls. We had a great time. I picked a few random images to share- enjoy!

Mommy and Daddy Time...

Morgan and I are headed to Myrtle Beach to spend some much needed time with my parents and family! I am so sad to leave Lily with Scott, but Carroll County would come and get us if i took her from school:) I will be getting lots of work done and organizing.
